ExecuTrain of Kentucky, with locations in Lexington and Louisville, announced today that it will offer free computer and professional development training sessions to displaced professionals in Kentucky.

Between now and January 15, 2010, both Kentucky locations will be hosting free hands-on educational sessions on a variety of computer and business skills topics for Louisville Metro and Lexington residents that have been laid off this year. Louisville and Lexington business and IT professionals, who are seeking information to sharpen and refine their skills, will want to attend the 2009 Employable Training Benefit.

In its first offering in January 2009, ExecuTrain of Kentucky trained more than 240 displaced professionals from the Lexington and Louisville Metro areas. “We were thrilled that we were able to offer our services at no charge to the over 240 displaced Kentuckians in January 2009″ said Crinda Francke, Vice President of Business Development at ExecuTrain of Kentucky. “We look forward to this next round of training as we understand the importance of continued skills improvement when searching for new opportunities.”

SESSIONS ARE OFFERED SIMULTANEOUSLY AT BOTH LEXINGTON AND LOUISVILLE LOCATIONS.

Also, in the spirit of the holiday season, ExecuTrain is asking for local donations from Kentucky businesses and training partners to be given away throughout the week of free training. There will be an opportunity for attendees to schedule a subsequent private consultation.
