Appalachian Regional Healthcare
(ARH) is one of the nation’s largest
rural healthcare systems serving
more than 350,000 residents. ARH
contracted ExecuTrain for help with
implementing training on a new
time keeping system at every facility
throughout their 20 county service
area in Kentucky and West Virginia.
Previously the labor information
was collected manually, but the
switch to an automated system
required training every one of the
nearly 5,000 employees and physicians
at ARH.
ExecuTrain started with a training
solution that included a custom
training course and manuals that
were used both before and during the
actual software launch. In addition,
ExecuTrain developed a computer
based training application to be used
by any employees hired after the
initial implementation of the new
software. An educational help desk
was created by ExecuTrain to handle
all questions by ARH employees as
they learned the new system.
Finally, pre- and post-training assessments
were provided to determine all
staff members’ comprehension of the
training.
Testimonials from ARH
“Thanks to ExecuTrain’s professional approach, this project was a huge
success. ExecuTrain kept in touch with us throughout the entire project and
always used a “customer first” approach during the process. ExecuTrain
made us feel as if we were their only customer and we will definitely be
using ExecuTrain for our next training project.”
